SUPPORT

Support the creation of a new work for Voice by composer Marcus Davidson – Thank you to everyone who donated. This event is now closed. Listen to ‘Light’ the piece that was commissioned, on Voice’s latest album Patterns of Love.

We would like to commission long-standing collaborator and composer Marcus Davidson to write Voice a new piece for our forthcoming programme. We need to raise £1,000 by 11 May 2014.

Voice’s touring programme, Patterns of Love, will include a programme of songs that describe the beauty, heartache, and humour of love, using a variety of musical genres, from 12th Century chant, to arrangements of traditional songs from the British Isles and Europe, and a set of new commissions.
This programme will be toured in UK in Nov / Dec 2014, and in USA in Jan / Feb 2015 / 16.

Find out more about Marcus Davidson and listen to ‘Angelica the doorkeeper‘ a piece he wrote for Voice in 2011 on Musical Harmony.

“For a composer, Voice are a dream to write for. They take on any project with enthusiasm and professionalism and turn your music into something you didn’t imagine. With Voice I always feel I’m part of some special event, mixed in with alot of fun! I am thrilled to be asked to write a piece for Voice’s Patterns of Love programme.”
