Hildegard Portraits takes its title from a suite of pieces written for Voice, by composer Laura Moody in 2021 as part of a collaborative multimedia show Hildegard Transfigured, with visual artist Innerstrings. The album includes original pieces by medieval abbess, Hildegard of Bingen, and new pieces inspired by her music and texts.
